The criteria for deciding a player’s race are simple; it will be judged on face value and on a case-by-case basis. Consequently a player of mixed black and white ethnicity will be classed as black, as their facial features and mannerisms are more akin to their black side than their white.
In the unlikely event of an oriental player scoring, a question mark symbol will be used to represent them and they will be classed under a third category entitled “other”. Players of Middle Eastern, Indian, Native American, etc. appearance will also be classed as “other”.
Own goals will be credited to the appropriate race, but will not register on the top scorers table.
If you disagree with a player’s racial classification, please feel free to email or leave a comment and the matter will be looked at.
