To add an element of fun, I am planning to include odds on this season’s battle. Below is the email I have sent to a number of bookmakers.
Dear [name of bookies], this World Cup I will be keeping a table of goalscorers ranked by their race (white, black and other). As you do not offer odds on this, I was wondering if you could give me a set of unofficial odds on whites outscoring blacks, blacks outscoring whites and both races scoring an equal number of goals.

I was pondering this over the start of the season and wondered what would happen if I went into a bookies and asked for the odds. Technically it isn’t racist but as it’s not “pc” no doubt i would never get any odds for it. Maybe time to create my own bookies….the racial betting market could be huge.
I’d lose a load in any 100 metre event though I’m sure…

I asked Wes Brown what catagory he’s in. He said he wasn’t black and he wasn’t white, but that he Wes Brown.
As a liberal type i’m meant to be offended apparantly, but i’m not. I would suggest to any white supremisist types that a swimming version might be more to your liking, just stay the hell away from sprinting.
I’d go Nani- black and Eduardo- white, for the record.
